I've been reading excerpts from students' admission essays to Princeton University.
They are sad, and funny, and some are so amazing to me.
How can an 18 year old be so shockingly sure of themselves?
And say the most perfect things
Here's one I liked:
"I spent much of last year in an intensive treatment program for an eating disorder. But I don't have an eating disorder. I have never allowed others to impose their ideas of who I am on me, and I never will."
I only wish I could have so much conviction at 22.
